Please find this product at [ Ссылка ] This video is to bring you a closer look at the National Guard Products A605A perimeter seal, or it could also be used as an astragal, weather stripping. This is a very short, small little piece but it is certainly representative of any length that you would order. So the A605 stands for the fact that you've got an aluminum holder with a short nylon bristle, that's here. Then the A after that stands for the fact that this is in the clear aluminum finish. It's available in brass, and dark bronze as well. There's an image below this video showing everything important dimensionally about it, let's go over that now. You can see that you've got about 5/8" worth of aluminum holder or extrusion, and about 7/16" length on the bristle making this a very typical common bristle sort of sweep. Projection, much less of an important dimension, but you're about 1/4" on that, maybe closer to 3/16". When you order a clear finish you're going to get a gray nylon bristle. If you were to order brass or dark bronze it'd probably be black, that'd be pretty typical. Screws are included. Look like they're about a 6 x 3/4" but they look longer than that, pan head screw, sheet metal screw in a complimentary finish. A piece of weather stripping like this is going to be very commonly used as a door sweep or as an astragal. Less commonly, in my experience, as a perimeter seal, but as an astragal it would certainly be very effective, as a door sweep it would be equally effective. Short nylon bristle sweeps like this you're going to see very commonly in aluminum store-front doors where you've got thresholds and the undercut (the margin underneath the door) is quite tight, 1/4", that kind of stuff, 3/8" more likely. Used for exterior entrances to retail spaces, commercial spaces, things like that. Available in several different lengths on the website. If you have need for a custom length like this one, by all means let us know by ordering the next longest piece or pieces and indicating in the comment field what length you'd like us to cut the material back to. The reasoning, well imagine if this was a 3' piece and you had to cut it down to say 30", you'd end up eliminating that slotted screw at the end and then the next one would be 10" over. So if you order a custom length we'll not only locate the slotted hole at the proper distance from the edge but the proper center to center as well. It's nice to have those slotted holes because if it's a door sweep or an astragal, it's going to give you the lateral or vertical adjustment to help compensate for doors that are out of plumb, or not square, sills that are not level. Things of that nature. Slotted hole also helps compensate for a mis-drilled hole, you know when you're pre-drilling your hole for the screws, your bit has the tendency to walk a little bit before it pierces through the steel or aluminum or wood or fiberglass, if you've not used a center punch. So if you order a custom length, we'll give you that hole in the proper distance here, and the proper distance as well making it a real nice, clean installation for you, eliminating the amount of additional work that you have to do.
