After Rome I traveled to Barcelona! I had heard about Catalonia and knew a little history about Spain and the civil war, but I never fully knew the whole history. On the trip to Barcelona I decided to explore the history and the culture of Barcelona and focus more on Catalonia than Spain. I really enjoyed seeing the city from that perspective, rather than seeing it as another Spanish city.
