Robert Veach of VParanormal1 demonstrates a prototype of an external microphone with an adjustable stereo field adjustment called EVP Para-Field (TM). By increasing the stereo field of an external microphone (used on an digital voice recorder, during an paranormal investigation) it is significantly easier to analyze EVP evidence as being legitimate. There are theories out there that suggest EVP's do not even use the microphones at all. EVP's tend to enter the digital recorders internal circuitry and present themselves as equal voltage (VU) energy. This custom microphone will make external acoustic sounds that are captured during an investigation become obvious that they are not valid EVP's.
