All about the UK ham radio foundation exam, license and process. Ideal for all taking the amateur radio license as an introduction into what to expect. It doesn't matter what discipline your interested in, from a prepper wanting to know basic technician / operation to professionals building their own radios, we all need to start somewhere and foundation is that place.

I am no expert, after all I have only just passed my foundation exam, don't hold me to bands and frequencies. The information in this video is to explain the process and to encourage people to get into Ham Radio and take your exam which is the starting point.
Check out the IOS app store and look for: UK Amateur Radio Mock Tests app. Its really good for exam practice.
Best of luck to everyone in your endeavors and you never know, we might get to talk. MJ7NLK wishing everyone a good day, 73, over and out. (that's a Ham Radio mic drop for those who don't know)
More interesting facts: 73 in ham radio means "best regards" and 88 means "hugs and kisses". 73 is commonly used to say goodbye.
