This video highlights key principles, strategies and considerations from experiences collected and synthesized from various stakeholders from current or past USAID-funded projects. These concepts are meant to help donors, implementing agencies and in-country partners who are keen to work on strengthening the capacity of the public sector so that SBC programs are more purposeful, effective and sustainable.
In this presentation ‘the public sector’ refers to the government, specifically those units primarily responsible for SBC in a country. This typically includes the Health Promotion and/or Health Education Units of the Ministry of Health but may vary by country.
