Attacks have continued in Zamfara state despite the suspension of telecommunication services.

A 27-year-old mother of four says bandits have attacked their village five times in the last ten months, killing scores of locals and about fifteen are still being held captive.

She says four members of one family were beheaded, while houses and shops were also set ablaze by the bandits.
