If you forgot the passcode on your iPod touch, you might want to try out all the possibilities to unlock it without losing any data.
While that’s indeed the proper way to go, but some users don’t have such good luck, and exhausted all the chances of passcode unlocking, then iPod will show this:
It says iPod is disabled, connect to iTunes.
No worries, in this video I’ll show you 3 simple ways to unlock it.

Method 1: Unlock Using the Find My App
Requirements: Find My iPod must be enabled, and you need to remember your Apple ID credentials.
Steps:
- On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings, sign in with the same Apple ID, and ensure Find My is enabled.
- Open the Find My app, tap "Devices," and select your iPod.
- Tap "Erase This Device" at the bottom, then enter your Apple ID and password.
- Your iPod will begin the erase process, eventually bringing you to the "Hello" screen, where you can set it up as new.

Method 2: Unlock Using iTunes
- Open iTunes on your computer and connect your iPod.
- Put your iPod touch into recovery mode by pressing and holding the Top and Home buttons simultaneously until the "Connect to Computer" icon appears.
- iTunes will recognize the device and prompt you to update or restore. Select "Restore."
- Confirm by clicking "Restore and Update." iTunes will download the firmware and begin the restore process.

Method 3: Unlock Using 4uKey
- If iTunes gives you errors, use 4uKey as an alternative (link provided in the description).
- Launch 4uKey, connect your iPod in recovery mode, and select the "Unlock Lock Screen Passcode" option.
- Download the firmware and proceed with the unlock process.
- Once the process is complete, you'll see a message that the passcode has been removed successfully. You can now set up your iPod with a new passcode or leave it for later.
