Raising concerns about the three farm ordinances the government notified in June this year, Shiromani Akali Dal president and Ferozepur MP Sukhbir Singh Badal beseeched the BJP government in Parliament not to pass the farmer ordinances as it would negatively impact 20 lakh farmers, more than 30,000 middlemen, more than 30 lakh mandi labourers and more than 15-20 lakh farm labourers.
