I have two Ukrainian parents.
My mother is born in Ukraine. Her parents are also Ukrainian but her father has perhaps Polish ancestors.
My father is also born in Ukraine. His parents are also Ukrainian but her mother has perhaps Jewish and Russian ancestors.
I was very shokked when I had my results receveid. I don’t even have 50% for Eastern Europe while both my parents are Ukrainians. Moreover, the percentages for the people of the Balkans and the Baltics are quite high, which is odd I think.
In short, all this to tell you that I love to know more about the history of my family and even if perhaps this DNA test is not precise, it is still worth it to do it.
