What is Oscar's Book Prize? This video tells the story about how and why Oscar's Book Prize was set up, what it has grown to become since its inception in 2014 and how it has been received by the public and the publishing industry.

It includes footage from the 2019 Oscar's Book Prize Awards at the May Fair Hotel in London.

Speaking in the video are Oscar's parents and the founders of the prize that bears his name, James Ashton and Viveka Alvestrand, as well as HRH Princess Beatrice (Royal Patron) and representatives from Amazon, the Evening Standard, the National Literacy Trust and others. Also featured are children's book authors and illustrators Lauren Child and Ed Vere.
