It is a pleasure to program an original sound from zero. You can explore different textures and layers and combine them. The JX3P has 2 DCO and a nice filter. Moreover the old school chorus gives you a vintage taste. I added a bit of Valhalla Massive as echo for the deepness.
Back in the 80s I was used to Soundtracker/Protracker software on Commodore Amiga. Usually a 64 note pattern was the standard length unit. I always loved to put bass or lead arpeggios using the entire pattern length. For this purpose I programmed a 64 note arpeggio on the JX3P and played around with chords and harmony.
