I have started to germinate three fruit seeds: lychee, longan and tamarind. You can see my process in the video.
Lychee and Longan trees are relatives, so I expect that they will germinate the same way. Their seeds are very similar as well. I have germinated many lychee seeds before. They usually take a week or a bit more to germinate.
You can see that the one of the longan seed has started to crack and open already. That is where the root and the stem of the tree will grow from.

It is my first time germinating longan and tamarind seeds. I wonder if germinating the tamarind seeds will be different than the other ones.

☆ Content of the Video: ☆
0:12 - Lychee fruit and its seed
0:40 - Longan fruit and its seed
1:48 - Tamarind fruit and seed
3:03 - The germinating method: - let them soak in water for a day then put them into plastic container in between a wet paper towel. Put them onto a warm place.
3:58 - Longan seed started to crack (close up view)
4:33 - I put the seeds into the container, spray them with water, close container

Remember to check upon your seeds daily or every other day!
Spray water on them if they need it! Don't let the paper towel to dry out!
