Due to engineering works between London Paddington and Slough, trains which normally terminated at the aforementioned London termini, instead had to terminate at London Waterloo or London Marylebone via a few reversals and diversionary routes. In this clip we arrive at Banbury having traveled up the Chiltern mainline from London Marylebone, to reverse to head down to Oxford, round the Didcot West Curve and back onto the normal route to continue on to this trains destination of Swansea, the train was formed of GWR/FGW 43029 + 43128 working 1Z37 London Marylebone - Swansea.
