Over 135 people are feared dead in Bahawalpur, eastern Pakistan on Sunday following a devastating fire after an oil tanker had exploded. Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Pakistan's military, informed a total of 51 people with serious burns and in critical condition have been transported by army helicopters to the city of Multan. Over 40 injured with 70% burns are being treated at Bahawalpur's Victoria Hospital. Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif  has expressed deep grief over the heavy loss of life. The death toll is expected to go up.
