On February 1, 2021, Amtrak ACS-64 #649 was leading Amtrak North East Regional #93 leads the train and suddenly, Amtrak 93's engine broke down in Baltimore, MD and as Amtrak GP15 #576 comes out of the base in Odenton, MD to rescue the train. After an hour and a half, the train came through Odenton, MD with Amtrak #576 facing long hood forward southbound on track #3 through Odenton, MD. Amtrak 93 was 4 hours late to Union Station in DC
