(6 Apr 2016) Brazilian Army aviation battalions, special forces, paratroopers and soldiers conducted military exercises in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday, as part of the security training for the Olympic Games being hosted by the city in August.
One of the exercises consisted of getting the army's special operation squad, including a dog, in an out quickly due to an unforeseen emergency situation.
Although Brazil has no history of extremism, security officials said they have always trained and are prepared to deal with such threats and attacks if they were to happen.
The Olympic Games will begin on 5 August.
