Giant Brook Trout that weighed over 11 pounds caught and released in Labrador in 2011. Fish was weighed in the net (off camera) and confirmed for weight. That week we landed six other fish in the 8 pound range (weighed and released). At that time use of gloves for handling fish was still accepted, so please do not use them today for trout.
