He also clarified the viral video saying that the video is old and being modified by the political parties to spread rumours. He also added that he left Congress as he do not see the party as a contender in UP Assembly elections 2022. He claimed that Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party is the only alternative to BJP in Uttar Pradesh. .
