Finally this summer I managed to find companions, Giacomo and Roberto, with whom I travelled to the destinations I always wanted to visit along with beautiful views and scenery.
Synthetically our stops have been:
- Shildon: Shed Bash at Locomotion
- Whitby: NYMR (North Yorkshire Moors Railway) and walk to Dalby Forest from Levisham.
- Berwick upon Tweed: Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island
- Stonehaven: Dunnotar Castle
- Inverness: bike ride along Loch Ness
- St. Andrews: city centre
- Lake District: R&ER (Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway), Scafell Pike, Cockley Beck
- York: Flying Scotsman pulling “The Waverley”, NRM (National Railway Museum, city centre
