Sky News host Rowan Dean has reacted to Donald Trump’s presidential election victory.
The Republican candidate has managed to secure enough electoral votes to reclaim the White House, making this his second win over three election cycles.
“It’s hugely important ... you actually predicted a landslide win for Trump three years ago, and I haven’t deviated from that,” Mr Dean told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“It does not surprise me, and the reason it does not surprise me is for the very reason you have mentioned ... this was a direct referendum on wokeness, on the entire vile, nasty, spiteful, sanctimonious, supercilious ideology known as wokeness.
“The people have rebelled in the states against it.”
Mr Dean claims Mr Trump’s election win signals the “end of wokeness”.
