The Alta Monitoring Kit from Monnit is a cellular based temperature monitoring platform. The kit comes with two temperature sensors that wirelessly connect to a gateway device (also included). These make for a great setup for notifying users to changes in temperature via cellular text messaging or alerts. The second product Randall showcases is from TDK InveSense. The ICP-10100 barometric pressure sensor is capable of measuring pressure with extreme accuracy. TDK InvenSense has developed a board for utilizing its various sensors called the SmartMotion Platform. DK-10100 utilizes barometric and temperature sensors so you can evaluate the products quickly and find what works for your design.
