LiQi’s audition recording (October 2022) gained her BMus (Hons) offers from the Royal College of Music London, Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She went on to accept the offer from RCM and is currently developing her musicianship the BMus (Hons) programme in London!

This performance was achieved a year after LiQi's first audition attempt. She had just switched teachers to me and received a few offers, but not to her first choice of institution. We agreed that with a better choice of repertoire, practice methods, and understanding of technique and musicianship, she stood a chance of a better result with another attempt. During this year, LiQi worked with me and grew leaps and bounds as a pianist, musician, and student. She developed in multiple areas, technique, critical listening, musical understanding, performance stagecraft.
