So, to celebrate the Chinese New Year, Anton decided it would be a good idea to hone his Chinese cooking skills by getting some experts to teach him a simple dish.
What he didn't know was his team got them to pack the 1,000 year old eggs for him.
Anton was joined by Eva Pau from Dublin's Asia Market and Chef Yip from Duck Hong Kong BBQ. Eva told him how the Lunar New Year is celebrated in China (this is the year of the monkey) and he tasted some of the more ‘interesting’ items available to try or taste at Asia Market. These include New Year delicacies, soft drinks and snacks that would be unusual to the western palate.
