CRPD Responding Code 3 to clear debris from Highway 10 in Minnesota (Anoka County)

This originally went out to assist a neighboring agency with a chase, but ended up cleaning up major debris on highway 10 near Foley Ave.

"02-CR-20-2551 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota STATEMENT OF PROBABLE CAUSE 4/24/2020
During the early morning hours of April 23rd, 2020, Anoka police heard a radio communication of a car which was fleeing police travelling southbound on Round Lake Boulevard heading into the city of Anoka, Anoka County. The Anoka officer attempted to position his squad to intervene in the pursuit. The fleeing car passed the Anoka officer travelling south on Round Lake Boulevard towards Highway 10. The Anoka squad had to move out of the way of the fleeing suspect. The Anoka squad pursued with lights and siren activated. The fleeing car was travelling in excess of 80 mph. The car then went east on Highway 10. The fleeing car continued at speeds approaching 100 mph. The fleeing car struck multiple road signs on Highway 10. The car then went southbound on University Avenue and then went west on Osborne Road. The fleeing car entered a residential area at speeds nearing 50 mph. As the car approached 79th Way NE it travelled through a cul-de-sac and crashed into trees near railroad tracks. Police observed a person exit the driver's door and run from the car into the woods. This person was wearing a black top and had dark hair. A passenger was found in the front passenger seat of the car. A short time later a person wearing a black top came from the woods with her hands up. This was the driver and she was identified as ---, the defendant herein. The defendant had an arrest warrant from Stearns County. The defendant appeared under the influence as she was slurring her words. The defendant admitted to having previously ingested methamphetamine and heroin. Results of a search warrant blood draw are pending."
