Turkish President Erdogan has announced the biggest gas discovery in Turkey's history in Black Sea, a few minutes ago. According to Erdogan, the natural gas reserves discovered are estimated to be around 320 billion cubic metres and these reserves are in Danube-1 area of Black Sea. He further said that more natural gas was expected to be found in this area of Black Sea. This is the biggest natural gas gas find in Turkey's history in Black Sea. Turkey imports much of the oil and gas used in the country. According to Turkish President, these natural gas reserves are sufficient to meet the needs of the country for 07 years. Earlier Reuters had claimed that the amount of found gas by Turkey in Black Sea was around 800 billion cubic metres.
