Dr. Jelke Boesten is a reader in Gender and Development at King's College London. Jelke works on issues regarding gender justice in post conflict societies – the idea that interventions to address gendered injustice, such as violence against women and girls, should aim to transform the social, political and economic relations that underpin the possibility of violence.
As part of our exploration of Women and the Environment, EcoResolution co-founder Ruby Reed spoke with Jelke, discussing intersectional feminism, power dynamics, and the gender norms and binaries which contribute to environmental and societal breakdown.
