Marko Topchii was born in Kyiv, started studying guitar at 4 with Volodymir Homenyuk, studied in Kharkiv with Volodymir Dotsenko, in Kyiv with Yuri Aleksik, in San Francisco with Judicael Perroy and is currently at the concertexam program in Genève with Judicael Perroy. Has won 55 international guitar competitions, including the GFA (New York) , Pittaluga (Alessandria, Italy ), Tarrega (Benicassim, Spain), Tokyo, Adelaide (Australia). Had recorded 4 albums, including Naxos (Canada) and Contrastes Records (Spain), and performed at Carnegie Hall (New York, Weill recital hall), Halle Cortot (France, Yamaha Ginza Hall (Japan), and appeared on stage with over 10 different concerts with orchestra.
