PARACAS is just 3 and a half hours away from Lima. It is the place where the desert meets the ocean. PARACAS is beautiful, fun, good food and animals, here the ecosystem is different.
We visited the BALLESTAS ISLANDS, full of sea lions and hundres of kinds of Birds. Pinguins are easy to spot here.
We visited the Paracas reserve with its nice beaches and pictoresque scenarios.
The boat ride to the BALLESTAS ISLANDS is S/30 soles (like $9) plus S/16 soles ($4.7) for entrance and port taxes.
The entrance for the PARACAS RESERVE is S/11 ( like $3.3) but if you buy a combine entrance, BALLESTAS + RESERVE will be S/17 ($5) + S/5 for port taxes.
