Chaos The Imposter is a Character Skin Mod created by Sotaknuck.

With the first main feature here being Chaos;
This mod brings in Chaos as a playable character for 3 A.I.R (replacing Tails), which makes use of his shape shifting body to take on the form and use the abilities of all of the main characters at the same time for an unbound exploration experience. Insta-shield the bosses, fly above hazards, and climb higher than ever before!

Features:
☉ 5 different spritesheets with additional frames!
☉ The full movesets of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles bundled in one single gamebreaking package!
☉ Two control options: Button based or Directional based. Button based transforms chaos into the character based on the button pressed when using the secondary action (A = Sonic, B = Tails, C = Knuckles). Directional based transforms the character when a specific direction is held during the secondary action (Neutral = Sonic, Up = Tails, Down = Knuckles). If debug mode is used, the Directional setting will override the controls to allow proper play and still use the debug actions.
☉ Selectable spin animation for chaos' Tails form, just like Tails has in Sonic 3D in 2D.
☉ Multiple color palettes to choose from (Impostor, Generations, Battle, Cobalt, Opal or Ruby)
☉ A customized story mode with two old villains from Sonic's past hindering your progress!
☉ Tweaked AI for Chaos' final boss!
☉ Option to also play through Sonic/Tails' or Knuckles' story, with all the appropriate changes in game (EG: the death egg in Launch Base, knuckles encounters...)
☉ It may be obvious, but Chaos cannot drown.

The second main feature here is Hybrid Mixes, a music mod pack put together by TMKDash.

This mod pack combines the Jammin' sounds of the release Sonic 3 Zone music with upbeat and distinct melodies of the prototype music!

The character is not only pretty fun but pretty OP. If anything, I might end up doing a full on speedrun of Chaos's Story, even though this playthrough felt like one. Could be better in some areas, especially the final battle, which sort of confused me with how long it was taking.
