Glow plugs are thin long rods that are located on your engine. they job is to glow at very hot temperature so they can burn the diesel and start you car on this passat they are easy to change. You gently need to slide of the plug on the glow plugs then al you need is a 10 socket rachet u wana open them gently do not wana snap the glow plugs if it feel like it's not opening or its gonna snap leave it and take it to a garage
