Staff at the Iranian Embassy were out with the hoses Friday after someone splattered the front gate and entrance door with paint.
While embassy officials could not be reached for comment, the RCMP confirmed that an ``unknown suspect'' threw two paint-filled bottles at the front door Friday afternoon.
