Julia Child's Ratatouille Recipe:
1 lb. eggplant
1/lb. zucchini
1 teaspoon salt
6-7 tablespoons olive oil, more if necessary
1/2 lb. (about 1 1/2 cups thinly sliced yellow onions
1 pound firm red tomatoes, or 1 1/2 cups pulp
2 (about 1 cup) sliced green bell peppers
2 cloves mashed garlic
salt and pepper to taste
