Leader of the Scottish Tories Ruth Davidson has said two members of the public complained of intimidation while trying to vote in Annan in Dumfries and Galloway. Mrs Davidson tweeted: 'Disturbing reports of people being turned away by burly blokes if they say they don't support a certain party'. She has passed on the complaint to the local council and has spoken to police. It came as police also issued a Scotland-wide warning amid fears of 'threatening behaviour' from firebrand SNP supporters. Nationalists who believe that last year's referendum was rigged in favour of the 'No' campaign urged people to photograph their votes and covertly watch election officials in case their votes are torn up, changed or not counted.
