The fight against food waste is now part of the skills expected of professionals in the catering sector. Afpa, as a contribution to the European LIFE Foster project to fight against food waste, offers you information and training on this subject through three webinars.
The aim of these webinars is to raise the awareness of the actors of the restaurant sector to the fight against food waste, to increase their skills and competences and to provide them with the methodological elements necessary to implement appropriate actions.
The approach of the training is to act at each level of the food chain in order to reduce waste in accordance with the waste hierarchy and by applying the principles of the circular economy for food and the sustainable development objectives of the United Nations.
