In the penultimate part of our Ultimate Metal Gear Solid Retrospective, we're looking at one of the more divisive entries of the franchise, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots. A game that to this day, still has fans bumping heads over whether it's a chaotic masterpiece, or an overblown, self-indulgent mess. Today we'll be analysing the ups and down that are presented within the experience. And observing how many parts which make up the game take innovative leaps forward, but also some regressive steps back.
