In this video, we demonstrate a real time energy management solution to assist a utilities plant operator to make better decisions – minimizing energy supply cost and meeting energy demand from the processes. Three challenges are described in this demo: 1. Estimating the performance of the utilities plant in its current condition, 2. Minimize energy supply cost to meet energy demand, and 3. Anticipate and respond to changes in operations. A real time energy management solution will enable you to reconcile utilities balances and identify faulty meters, monitor the performance of key equipment, minimize the energy supply cost, and carry out online what-if scenario analyses.
