Ingredients for Cheese Filling:
Mozzarella cheese (grated) 1 ½ cup
Mixed herbs 3 tbsp
Red chili flakes 1 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp to taste
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Mint leaves (chopped) 2 tbsp
Ingredients for Honey Mustard Dip:
Mayonnaise 1 cup
Mustard paste 3 tbsp
Honey 1/4 cup
Salt 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Ingredients for Assembling:
Onion 4-5
K&N’s Pastrami Strips as required
Prepared cheese filling as required
All-purpose flour as required
Beaten eggs as required
Bread crumbs as required
Oil (for frying) as required
Directions for Cheese Filling Preparation:
1. In a bowl add cheese, onion, salt, black pepper, mixed herbs, red chili flakes, mint and mix well. Set aside.
Directions for Honey-Mustard Dip:
1. In a bowl add mayo, mustard paste, honey, salt, black pepper, lemon juice and mix well.
2. Your Honey mustard dip is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Assembling:
3. Take three layers of onion rings, taking the middle one out. Fill the middle hollow space with cheese filling.
4. Now wrap the K&N’s Pastrami Strips around the onion ring tightly, secure it with tooth picks and set aside.
5. Dust the ring in the flour.
6. Dip it in beaten eggs and the coat it with bread crumbs.
7. Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry them until crispy and golden brown in color.
8. Your Pastrami onion rings are ready. Dip Pastrami onion strips in Honey Mustard Sauce and enjoy.
