The Philippine National Police (PNP) is in hot pursuit of the suspect in the abduction of a Chinese woman in the Makati business district. But PNP Spokesman Bernard Banac says the reported abductions of Chinese nationals in the Philippines are not a cause for alarm since they are believed to be isolated cases.
