The 3 cats with the best times in the Agility Ring at the 2017 CFA International Cat Show, held at the Portland Expo Center in Portland, Oregon, USA on November 19th.
The judge presenting the cats is Melanie Morgan.
The audience for the Best of the Best competition was much larger than last year and so more in line with what I've seen in the past.
Other than the top cat, the Havana Brown, I've not been able to determine who the other 2 cats (or their human stand in) is/are. If I do find out who they are I'll mention them here in the video description.
I believe the banging sounds were from show vendors disassembling their booths/displays. As I was focused on the Best of the Best portion of the show I hadn't looked to see what the cause was.
From these initial videos, sounds like the audio from the new microphone worked very well - except for clearly picking up the Best of the Best announcer's voice, Darrell Newkirk, as he was located about 90° off the direction the camera, and thus the microphone, was pointing - and the express purpose of this type of microphone (shotgun mic) is to minimize audio off axis - sound occurring to the side of the direction the mic (and camera) are pointing.
