Protesters and police clash in Venezuela

There have been running battles in Venezuela's capital, Caracas, with security forces battling anti-government protesters.

Crowds tried to reach the National Assembly to demand the resignation of President Nicolas Maduro.

Protesters blame his government for the country's ongoing economic crisis.
