Schinichi Kameoka is a renowned game artist famous for his exceptional work in the Mana series. He began his career as an in-game sprite graphics designer at Squaresoft in 1993 and worked on Secret of Mana and Seiken densetsu 3. He later became an art director for Saga frontier and debuted as a character designer and illustrator for Legend of Mana. Kameoka's designs feature vibrant colors and patchy highlights, creating a balance of friendly, goofy, and crappy archetypes that fit well into the fantasy atmosphere. Kameoka's love for using acrylic color palettes is evident in his work, as seen in Egglia Legend of the redcap. He also started his own company, Brownie brown, and collaborated with Square Enix on Sword of Mana. Kameoka's unique approach to character design always starts with the shoe design of his characters.
