(Reporter: So the death toll now is 54?)

The NATO forces are working there, if they themselves are denying (it) there's no need to have an allegations or blame game; it's better we all have to fight against terrorism and extremism, and we should not put excuses, rather we should jointly fight this war."

STORYLINE:
The suicide bomber who detonated his vehicle at the gates of the Indian Embassy in Kabul on Monday intended to destroy the embassy itself, the Indian ambassador to Afghanistan said on Wednesday.
Ambassador Jayant Prasad said the impact was taken by the nine foot barrier outside, "and the damage to the embassy was not structural."
A review of the bomb scene showed that one of the embassy guards killed in the blast still had his hand on the closed gate.
The guard probably hadn't opened it because he saw a suspicious car driving close behind an embassy vehicle, Prasad said.
He did not provide any specific details.
