** if I explained poorly, its been 3 years since I graduated and I just synthesised all my notes LMFAOO via AI. This is a pretty realistic view of what they will teach u, they dont teach u how to manipulate people etc. Im much less versed on these concepts (my notes) than I am other psychological theories and whatnot which I did not learn in my degree but “in the field” — aka what I usually talk about in my videos! obviously this scratches the surface and we can’t realistically summarise 3 years into 16 mins, let alone a couple of videos. ur degree also depends on what courses ur selecting too in year 3.
Year 1: foundational knowledge - Introduces basic psychological concepts and research methods.
Year 2: Builds on foundational knowledge with more advanced topics and introduces practical applications + advanced research methods.
Year 3: Advanced Topics and Dissertation - Forensic psychology, neuropsychology, health psychology, educational psychology, etc.
Year 4: HONOURS + research
IMO I do think you can study everything yourself. I never went on to do masters etc, because this is not my chosen field and I knew I would work for myself and I would never be a psychologist. I just knew if I understood psychology I will always make money and have an edge as an entrepreneur!
