Stamford Police Department:
This little piggy went to the market, this little piggy stayed home... this little piggy ran away from the police!
Stamford Police responded to the area of Roxbury Road yesterday evening on reports of a pig wandering through the neighborhood. Officers found the pig later in the area of Winding Brook Lane. Officer Michael Nguyen, Officer Louis Vidal and Officer Nicholas Gelonesi attempted to capture the pig, which the led to the video below. It took over 45 minutes of chasing the pig to finally catch him and get him under control. Oh yes, we are well aware of the plethora of jokes this incident brings to mind. No police officers or pigs were hurt during this incident. The pig is resting comfortably at Stamford Animal Control as we try and locate his owners. Please call (203) 977-4437 if you have information on this piggy.
