The president of the General Assembly reconvened the Emergency Special Session on Ukraine to address Russia’s illegal and fraudulent attempt to annex sovereign Ukrainian territory. The U.N. General Assembly continues debating whether to demand that Russia reverse course on annexing four regions of Ukraine. The full 193-member assembly is expected to vote Wednesday. The assembly rejected, 107-13, with 39 abstentions - Russia's earlier bid for a secret ballot.
