Thief 4, Thi4f, Thief 2014, Thief Reboot...whatever you want to call it, is one of the most boring, soulless games I've played in the last few years.

I'm baffled by how Eidos Montreal, a studio that got rebooting Deus Ex so right managed to get nearly everything wrong in making a reboot of Thief with Thief 4.

I picked up Thief 4 for a couple of bucks on Steam on a recent sale, and even then I still felt like this was a ripoff.

Unlike the Deux Ex reboots, Thief 4 completely misses the mark on what made the first three Thief games, especially the first two, so beloved and special.
