Back in 2017, Maruti Suzuki, in partnership with Toyota, started testing 50 prototypes of the WagonR EV. However, years passed, and India was left devoid of the WagonR EV. Unfortunately, in February 2022, Maruti Suzuki finally decided to axe the much-anticipated WagonR EV project.
