the dd-20 features a selection of digital delays, analog delay, tape delay, modulated delay, reverse delay, pan/ping pong delay & looping. in this pedal film, i go over all features, modes & hidden features, including sounds inspired by kevin parker {tame impala} & stuart braithwaite {mogwai}. some tame impala songs to check out include solitude is bliss, why won't you make up your mind, feels like we only go backwards, elephant, apocalypse dreams, let it happen, the less i know the better, borderline, it might be time & breathe deeper. this pedal uses sounds from classic boss/roland devices such as space echo, boss dm-2, boss dd-3 & boss dd-6. if you like this pedal, try out the new boss dd-200 & dd-500 delay pedals. this review & demo is in stereo using my roland jc 40 amp. by pairing this pedal alongside other guitar effects pedals, you can shape many different sounds with effects like distortion, reverb, fuzz, delay, overdrive, phaser, tremolo, & chorus for all sorts of music genres, such as rock, shoegaze, indie, alternative, ambient & worship, post rock, post punk, psychedelic rock & dream pop.
