After a rest day, the peloton arrives on the mainland ready to tackle a lumpy stage in the Emilia Romagna region. Beginning and ending in the town of Cesena, there are three categorised climbs to contend with, including a 3km-long kicker that averages 6.6% with less than 10km to go on the stage.
