Kolkata, Sept 02 (ANI): TMC leader Madan Mitra said that Suvendu Adhikari’s name is not there in the ED’s chargesheet as he is a BJP leader. “I'm very happy that my name is there (on the charge sheet). Otherwise, I would have been defamed in front of Bengal and India’s people. Suvendu Adhikari's name is not there in the charge sheet because he is a BJP leader,” said Mitra. ED has filed a Prosecution Complaint under Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA) in Narada sting operation case against TMC leaders Firhad Hakim, Subrata Mukherjee, Madan Mitra, Sovan Chatterjee and IPS officer SMH Meerza before the Special Judge (PMLA) in Kolkata.
